The Lakeland men's basketball team was outscored 13-0 in overtime Saturday in River Forest, Ill., and suffered a disappointing 68-55 loss to Dominican.
The Muskies, who have lost five of their last six games, fall to 11-9 overall, 7-6 in the Northern Athletics Conference. Dominican is 9-10, 6-6 in the NAC.
Lakeland was 0 for 7 shooting in the extra period, and committed three of its 19 turnovers. Lakeland led 26-24 at the half, and led by six early in the second half of a game that was close throughout.
Junior Peter Worth had 17 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Muskies, as he made 8 of his 11 shots. Senior Danny Ehnert added 15 points and seven rebounds.
Lakeland returns to action Wednesday when it hosts Milwaukee School of Engineering at 7 p.m.
