This week, the Lakeland College men's golf team travels to Aurora, Ill., to take part in the third and fourth rounds of the 2011-12 Northern Athletics Men's Golf Championship.

The Muskies enter the final rounds in sixth place, 50 strokes behind Edgewood College, who is leading the event with a two-round total of 626.

As for individuals, senior Ben Laubusch is just outside all-conference status. The top 12 golfers in the conference are selected, and he sits in 14th place.

Lakeland has had a solid week of practice and look to make a move in the final rounds at the
Stonebridge Country Club on Sunday and Monday, April 22-23.
