Men's Golf Finishes in 11th Place

The Lakeland Muskies finished 11th in their first golf outing of the season on Monday, Sept. 12 at the Wisconsin Lutheran Golf invitational. Leading the way for Lakeland was sophomore Justin Goosen, who carded scores of 78 and 80. Jake Bernetzke and Nate Lockhart rounded out scores in the eighties which head coach Jeff Nicholas hopes will improve as the season progresses. Nick Steudel and Jon Bintner finished their first collegiate competition and felt the pressure that accompanies competitive golf.

The team travels to The Oaks Golf Course for a tournament hosted by Edgewood College which starts on Saturday Sept. 17 and concludes on Monday.
