Casey Carr enters his second season as Lakeland College women's tennis coach. He also is the head coach of Lakeland's men's tennis program.

In his first season coaching the Muskies the Lakeland women finished 3-8 and placed tenth in the Northern Athletics Conference. Taking small steps forward, the finish was the best for the Muskies since the NAC was formed in 2006, and Carr also coached a first team all-conference athlete in Nicole Shavlik.

Carr is a Lakeland alum and was a standout on Lakeland's tennis team from 1996-98. He won the Lake Michigan Conference No. 1 singles title as a junior in 1998, losing just one singles match that season. Carr was also part of the LMC's No. 1 doubles champion team in 1996 and 1997. He was a three-year team captain and attended Lakeland from 1996-99.

In addition to tennis, Carr was a member of the Lakeland men's soccer team from 1997-99 and a captain all three years. He was a second team All-LMC honoree in 1997 and garnered first team All-LMC in 1998 and 1999.

Carr is a graduate of Sheboygan North High School and was a state qualifier in tennis in high school. He currently resides in Sheboygan.
