Lakeland College Theatre is excited to present "Lombardi," a look into the life of Vince Lombardi – the larger-than-life football legend who inspired players like none before.

The play follows the coach for a week in the Green Bay Packers 1965 championship season, the year before the Super Bowl came to be. A reporter attempts to discover Lombardi's secret by trying to get some well-known players to talk. They won't but the coach's wife, Marie, does and gives us a view of the master, rarely seen.

Through biting conflict, we see the teacher, coach and leader in a vulnerable new light and come to understand how perfectly imperfect he really was.

Performances are Nov. 5-7 and Nov. 13-14 at 7:30 p.m. and Nov. 15 at 4 p.m. in the Bradley Theatre at Lakeland College. Tickets are available online at http://lakeland.edu/tickets.
