RN to BSN Program Commits to Improving Diversity

The nursing profession commits to improving diversity and raising awareness of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). Lakeland supports those efforts, and this fall, Lakeland’s RN to BSN completion program will offer a special topics course called Determinants of Health and Vulnerable Populations. Current or prospective students are invited to join us for a course that will explore the conditions in which people live, work and play, and how the determinants influence health. It is time to focus on reducing health disparities, increasing health equity and promoting social justice.
