Elizabeth K. Fronczak
Assistant Professor of Spanish
Elizabeth K. Fronczak, who joined Lakeland's faculty in 2002, holds her master's and bachelor's degrees in Spanish language and literature from Marquette University.
She has taught numerous courses on Spanish language and culture, and is the lead English instructor for the English Language Institute's summer program.
Fronczak has lived and studied in Colombia, Costa Rica, Spain and Mexico. Fronczak's teaching background includes a one-year faculty position at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Santiago de Cali, Colombia, where she taught ESL and was the lead English instructor for faculty and staff.
Fronczak is instrumental in orchestrating and guiding Lakeland educational excursions to Spanish-speaking countries. Fronczak was the recipient of the Underkofler Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching Award in 2014.
