Lakeland University values what students are accomplishing in the workplace. That’s why you can earn credit for that work and cut down the time it takes to earn your degree!
By leveraging opportunities at your place of employment, students in Lakeland University’s J. Garland Schilcutt School of Business & Entrepreneurship can now earn academic credit using current or future work projects – without stepping foot in a classroom!
This new approach allows students to pursue subjects or projects that fit their current or future career path, and it’s unique to Lakeland.
Students work with their employer and/or academic advisor to cater their learning to their professional work setting, or to additional learning for a possible career change. They can take projects they are already doing at work, or take on additional projects that their employer hasn’t had the time or resources to do and earn credit for those experiences.
