Digging into Sheboygan County's Heroin Epidemic
Todd Priebe, Sheboygan County Sheriff

The heroin problem in Sheboygan County is nothing new. Stories about arrests and overdoses are common, and many people know someone whose life has been altered forever by heroin addiction.

Sheboygan County Sheriff Todd Priebe discussed the county's heroin problem at the first Lakeland University ThinkHaus talk of the 2016-17 academic year on Thursday, Sept. 15 in the John Michael Kohler Arts Center's theater.

Priebe attacked the heroin issue from the ultimate insider's view, having played a role in educating the community about the problem while combating it.

He discussed how easily heroin can creep into homes and families that would never expect it, and shared simple strategies on ways parents can safeguard their homes.
