Barbara Dodge, a veteran of the local higher education scene, has joined Lakeland University as director of university advancement.
Dodge, who had been working at Lakeland in a part-time role for several months, will work to develop and manage new and existing partnerships for Lakeland, especially with technical college partners. Dodge worked for 21 years at Lakeshore Technical College in a variety of leadership roles, including vice president of instruction and executive dean of health and business. She has also taught at Lakeland in an adjunct role since 2016.
Dodge will also serve as Lakeland's grant writer and she'll help develop Lakeland's new Women's Leadership Institute.
Dodge received a degree in nursing from St. Mary of Nazareth School of Nursing in Chicago, a bachelor's degree in business administration from Kendall College in Evanston, Ill., and a master's in management and organizational behavior from Silver Lake College in Manitowoc, Wis. She also received her Doctor of Philosophy, Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Capella University in Minneapolis, Minn.
