Associate Professor of History
Rick Dodgson earned his Ph.D. in history from Ohio University in 2006 and joined the Lakeland faculty in 2007.
A native of the United Kingdom, Dodgson earned his bachelor's degree in economics while also majoring in American studies and social anthropology from the University of Wales in 1994. He finished his master's of political science from Ohio University in 1995.
Dodgson is a critically acclaimed author, whose recent book, "It's All a Kind of Magic: The Young Ken Kesey," received rave reviews after its release in fall 2013.
Dodgson serves on the Board of Directors of the Sheboygan County Historical Research Center.
