Hello Lakeland Alumni!

Please see below for a special invitation by Martin Ulrich '75, Heidi Moeschberger Rendall '76 and Jeanie Kurka Reimer '77 for a Lakeland Alumni reunion trip to Germany!

Hello fellow alumni,

We are excited to announce that we are putting together a reunion trip to Germany in July 2020, and you are invited! We have been in contact with those who went on the January 1975 Winterim trip to Germany with Dr. Gould and Dr. Ulrich, and a number of them have already signed up. Now we are reaching out to others who we believe might have interest. We would love to have you come!

ITINERARY:
As you can see from this itinerary, this will be an amazing trip coupled with incredible company! How fun it will be to reconnect with Lakeland friends and widen our circle by welcoming spouses/friends. There are many highlights on this trip including a Rhine River Cruise, the Bavarian Alps, Innsbruck, Salzburg, Munich, taking a cable car to the Zugspitze, the highest mountain in Germany, and much more. And, we are so excited that we will attend the Passion Play in Oberammergau, Germany which is an amazing event that happens every 10 years.

DATES:
The trip will take place July 20 – August 3, 2020. There will also be an opportunity to extend the trip at an additional cost to travel to Berlin for those that might have an interest in this.

COST:
The cost of the trip is $4,050 per person not including airfare. (Pricing is per person, in a double occupancy, and is based on 30 guests traveling. Should the numbers fall below 30, additional supplements may apply.)

FIRST COME FIRST SERVE:
We anticipate this will be a popular trip so if you are interested, we would encourage you to commit as soon as possible by submitting a $400 per person nonrefundable deposit. We have capped the trip at 30 -32 and have 17 people that have already committed:

DEPOSIT/PAYMENT SCHEDULE:
To secure your spot on the trip, a $400/per person non-refundable deposit is required. (Email Jeanie for information on where to send the check). An additional nonrefundable $1,000 per person will be due on September 30, 2019 and the balance 95 days before departure.

TRIP INSURANCE:
Trip insurance will be available through Insight Vacations. It is an optional expense but the plan may be purchased up to final payment, however, you must purchase the plan within 14 days of initial trip deposit in order to receive the Pre-Existing Condition Exclusion Waiver.
