Four accomplished Lakeland alumni returned to campus last week and headlined the first annual Humanities and Fine Arts Colloquium.

Musician Fabian Quamar ’14, pastor Sara Rabe ’97, writer Christina Rukavena ’99 and artist Sara Willadsen ’10 led a panel discussion with faculty and students, sharing their Lakeland stories and discussing their paths to success.

Later that day, Willadsen, a talented artist, opened an exhibition of her work in the Bradley Gallery with a reception. The exhibit will be on display until March 3.

And finally, Karl Elder, Lakeland’s longtime Jacob and Lucille Fessler Professor of Creative Writing and Poet in Residence, was inducted into the Fine Arts Gallery of Distinction.
