More than $110,000 awarded to high school students after inaugural Scholarship Day

Lakeland University’s inaugural Scholarship Day recently yielded $112,000 in grants, money that was dispersed among many of the 50 students who visited.

The big prize was a renewable $5,000 leadership scholarship, won by Ryan Kautzer of Sheboygan Falls High School.

Two $3,000 leadership scholarships and many more in increments of $500-$1,500, totaling $38,500, were awarded based on personal interviews.
