Lakeland University kicked off its new Great Grads series when it welcomed double graduate Joey O’Brien back to campus for a couple of hours of fellowship at the President’s House.

O’Brien, a counselor at Sheboygan North High School who was recently promoted to head football coach at the school, earned both his bachelor’s and his master’s degrees at Lakeland.

The Great Grads series is a casual way to celebrate Lakeland grads who are doing great things.

O’Brien was welcomed by Lakeland President David Black, Muskies head football coach Colin Bruton and two of his assistants, Lakeland alumni, some LU staff members and a handful of O’Brien’s friends.
