Four high-achieving Lakeland University students were recently inducted into Chi Nu, LU’s chapter of the Spanish National Honor Society, Sigma Delta Pi. Brianne Frank, Elizabeth Hahn, Jessica Luecke and Heather Meyer joined 63 previously inducted Lakeland Chi Nu members when they took part in a ceremony at Lakeland’s Ley Chapel.

For the 19th time and 13th straight year, Lakeland’s Great Lakes Writers Festival brought top-flight writers to campus to discuss their work and help aspiring young writers hone their craft. This year’s GLWF featured award-winning published writers Joe Wilkins and David Steingass. The duo read excerpts from their work and moderated multiple writing workshops with members of the community and high school students from Plymouth, Elkhart Lake, Kiel and Sheboygan Falls.
