Lakeland University supports Finlandia University students
In light of the recent news that Finlandia University in Hancock, Mich., is closing, we send our sincere support to Finlandia University students and employees during this challenging time.
Lakeland has a tradition of serving students from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. We have been in communication with Finlandia students to share how Lakeland can help find a pathway that fulfills their academic, personal and professional goals.
Lakeland will promise financial aid funding that matches the net tuition amount students would have received at Finlandia, ensuring no financial hardship is incurred due to this disruption. Additionally, Lakeland has identified 14 Finlandia degree programs that will transfer seamlessly for students to complete their degree in the same amount of time it would have taken at FinnU.
We wish Finlandia’s students the best in their searches and academic journeys. You can read more about how Lakeland is helping below.
Attendees have the opportunity to take this for professional development or graduate credit. Organizations can also sign-up and share the link with all of their employees.
