Lakeland welcomes three Sheboygan County Scholars
Lakeland University will welcome its ninth class of Sheboygan County Scholars to campus this fall. This program retains some of the area’s most promising young people and prepares them to assume future leadership positions within the region.

Waukesha County Technical College is excited to welcome Lakeland University to its main Pewaukee campus this summer in a move that will solidify their relationship and bring the two institutions together under one roof.

Lakeland University Alumni purchase Sheboygan’s riverfront boutique hotel: Harbor Winds Hotel
Lakeland graduates and hospitality management veterans Luke and Monica (Hetzel) Pfeifer ’03 ’06 are leading a partnership that has acquired Harbor Winds Hotel, a riverfront boutique hotel in Sheboygan, Wis.
The hotel will have strong connections to Lakeland. The Pfeifers announced that Emely Ortega ’22 will serve as hotel manager and Delilah Vance, who is graduating this May, will be assistant hotel manager.
