On April 16, 2026, Lakeland will come together for a 24-hour Day of Giving—bringing alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends together to support what matters most. This year’s theme, Musko’s Birthday, is all about building pride, energy, and participation across the Lakeland community. 

This year, success is focused on participation—especially welcoming first-time donors. Every gift, no matter the size, makes an impact!

Vibe @ 5 at Lakeland’s Main Campus

Calling all Sheboygan County area alumni (and friends)! 

On April 29, the Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce will host Vibe @ 5 at Lakeland’s main campus from 5–7 p.m. We’d love to see our Muskies there!  

Vibe @ 5 is the Chamber’s signature casual networking event, bringing together local professionals, business owners, and community leaders in a relaxed, social setting. It’s a great opportunity to make new connections, reconnect with familiar faces, and enjoy an evening on campus. 

What to Expect: 

      • A welcoming, come-as-you-are atmosphere 
      • Light bites & refreshments 
      • Great conversations 
      • A chance to connect with the local business community

Milwaukee Brewers Alumni Night

Join us for a summer night at the ballpark with fellow Muskies! 

Tuesday, July 21, 2026 

      • New York Mets vs. Milwaukee Brewers 
      • 6:40 PM 
      • American Family Field, Milwaukee 

Enjoy an all-inclusive game day experience in the Associated Bank Power Alley, a private indoor/outdoor space reserved for Lakeland alumni. Your ticket includes the game, buffet, beverages, and a great opportunity to connect with fellow Muskies. 

$110 per person 

Includes game ticket, private space access, all-inclusive food, unlimited soft drinks, and two alcoholic beverages (21+). 

Spots are limited to 40 attendees and will fill quickly.

Lakeland Alumni Japan Travels

April 4–13, 2027 

Join fellow Muskies for an unforgettable trip to Japan, including a special visit to Lakeland University Japan. Estimated pricing ranges from ~$5,500 (land only, based on group size). 

Registration opens in April, with Q&A sessions starting in May.

Steve Golden ’74

Steve Golden ’74 recently competed in his first powerlifting competition at age 74, earning first place in the Masters 70–75 division at the USPA Tucson Strength Classic. He set Arizona state records in his category for squat, bench, and deadlift—an incredible achievement!

Jennifer (Hintz) Krueger ’97 is celebrating 25 years of teaching with KUSD and 27 years overall in education.  

Ray York ’06 was recognized as the 2025 Board Member of the Year by the Sheboygan Falls Chamber-Main Street. 

Kris Saiberlich ‘08 MBA ‘18 has been promoted to AVP/Commercial Lending at National Exchange Bank & Trust 

Lane Sobieski ’23 recently started a new role as Sports Operations & Facilities Coordinator with the City of Independence. 

Dominic Hogan ’24 recently started a new position as Flex Linebackers Coach at Seton Hill University.

Join us for Lakeland University’s annual golf tournament, The Blasters, on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Blackwolf Run in Kohler, Wisconsin. 

This continues to be a sold-out event, so don’t miss out, reserve your spot today! 

All proceeds from the event will support our Life & Career Studies (LCS) program, which offers a full college experience for young adults (ages 18-25) with intellectual disabilities. LCS empowers students by providing access to academics, employment opportunities, independent living skills, and community engagement—ensuring they experience college life alongside their peers. 

Lakeland Student Earns Top DPT Placement

Exercise science senior Katelyn Kitsembel has been accepted into Northwestern University’s highly ranked Doctor of Physical Therapy program—an exciting next step following her standout academic, research, and athletic career at Lakeland. Her journey reflects the hands-on experiences and opportunities that prepare Muskies for success beyond campus.
