LU Cooperative Education team presents An Employer’s Playbook for Talent: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion series. DEI is of critical importance to the modern workplace. This series includes a diverse group of speakers willing to share their knowledge and experiences so others can improve their own DEI initiatives. From conversations with students to statewide organizations, these presentations will provide tools for attendees to become better allies to today’s modern workforce.

Kempton Freeman ’08 inspires during Opening Convocation
Freeman, a 2008 Lakeland graduate who today serves as cultural advisor for the Appleton (Wis.) Area School District, delivered the keynote address Thursday as Lakeland celebrated the start of the 2021-22 academic year in the Bradley Theatre.
