LU President Beth Borgen was featured just before Christmas in a podcast about her career path and her thoughts about collaboration, communication and work-life balance. “Beth is breaking the glass ceiling and shaking things up at the university with a fresh and female perspective and she says it’s something she hopes to see other companies implement in the future.” Be sure to give it a listen!

Former two-time President David Black named one of Sheboygan’s 2020 People of the Year
Former two-time Lakeland President David Black was named one of Sheboygan’s 2020 People of the Year by The Sheboygan Press. This semester, David is playing a key role in helping with some positive changes at our Tokyo, Japan, campus prior to his retirement at the end of the academic year.
Alums share their stories at annual colloquia
Lakeland held its annual academic colloquium sessions on December 8-10. These virtual events were great opportunities for current LU students to network with successful Lakeland graduates, who shared their post-graduation stories and tips for success.

Each year, hundreds of generous donors write out their checks, put a stamp on the envelope, and mail in their donation. Or, they have a reminder in their calendars to give online. Now, giving to Lakeland is more convenient!
