Moose Woltzen Book Coming Soon
“Moose” is about Duane “Moose” Woltzen, beloved athletic director and basketball coach, and his wife, Dona, who personified Lakeland College for 23 years. The book, by Vin Mannix, is an anthology of heartfelt and humorous stories and insights shared by players, peers and family that reflect an enduring respect for the couple that is remarkable.
This is Vin’s second book about Lakeland. He also wrote, “A Muskie Memoir,” about the Muskies 1967 championship football team.
“Moose” will be available by the holidays on Amazon.
Homemade Thanksgiving meals for students
Spectrum News 1 Wisconsin stopped by campus on Thanksgiving Day to report on the generosity of faculty and staff members, who donate items for a Thanksgiving feast.
