11th Annual Robert J. Martin High School Forensic Accounting Competition

Wisconsin High Schools: Forensic Accounting Challenge

Are your students ready to break free from the routine of debits and credits? Do they think accounting is "just bookkeeping"? It's time to show them the dynamic and exciting world of forensic accounting!

Join us on Friday, March 14 for the 11th Annual Robert J. Martin High School Forensic Accounting Competition, where up to 40 Wisconsin high schools will compete for the prestigious title of "Best High School Accounting Sleuths of 2025"!

Event Details:

March 14, 2025

The one-day event — sponsored by Vesta — is held at Lakeland University's main campus and has teams of students working to solve a forensic accounting case study by analyzing the information and data provided to determine how the fraud was committed and how it could be prevented in the future. Teams present their findings to accounting professionals, who serve as judges. Teams are divided into pools, and the event culminates with a final four round where the pool winners present to all the judges to determine an overall winner.

Throughout the day, there will be opportunities to go to breakout sessions to hear from professionals about this exciting career path.
