Welcome to Lakeland University's Commencement website. The site includes details for the day and all the forms you need to register for the ceremony and order your cap/gown.
Lakeland will hold three ceremonies on May 10, 2025, in the Woltzen Gym in the Wehr Center on the Main Campus.
The deadline to register to participate in Commencement and order your apparel is Sunday, March 23, at 11:59 p.m.
Baccalaureate Concert
Graduates and their families are invited to join us on Friday, May 9, the evening before commencement, for a Baccalaureate Concert entitled, “Gratitude for the Journey.” The one-hour service will begin at 6 p.m. in the Campus Center Event Space.
The service will feature musical offerings from our Chamber Winds and Choir students and reflections from students and a faculty member about gratitude for their Lakeland journeys. This service is sponsored by the Music Department and the Chaplain's Office.
A time for fellowship with light refreshments will follow the service.
Master's Degree Ceremony

9 a.m. – Master's degree candidates should assemble in full cap and gown in the Bradley Theatre for the 10 a.m. ceremony. Candidates will get additional details about the ceremony at this time. Woltzen Gym is open for guests to be seated.
10 a.m. – Master’s Ceremony Begins
Evening/online Undergraduate (associate & bachelor's degree) Ceremony
1 p.m., expand drop-down for details
12 p.m. – Associate and Bachelor's degree evening/online undergraduate candidates should assemble in full cap and gown in the Bradley Theatre for the 1 p.m. ceremony. Candidates will get additional details about the ceremony at this time. Woltzen Gym is open for guests to be seated.
1 p.m. – Evening/Online Undergraduate Ceremony begins
Traditional Undergraduate Ceremony
4 p.m., expand drop-down for details
3 p.m. – Associate and Bachelor's degree traditional undergraduate candidates should assemble in full cap and gown in the Bradley Theatre for the 4 p.m. ceremony. Candidates will get additional details about the ceremony at this time. Woltzen Gym is open for guests to be seated.
4 p.m. – Traditional Undergraduate Ceremony Begins
