At Lakeland you'll find attractive practice and performing facilities, including Wenger practice rooms, a Yamaha MLC-100 keyboard lab equipped with 11 CLP-240 Clavinovas, a computer lab for music composition and large band and choir rehearsal rooms. The attractive 500-seat Bradley Theatre with a Yamaha CFIII-S concert grand piano is the centerpiece of performances on campus.
There is a long history of excellence in choral and instrumental music at Lakeland. You’ll find the training and experiences needed to prepare you for success as a performer, teacher, scholar and conductor. Musicianship, technique and professionalism are coached by Lakeland’s talented and experienced music faculty.
At Lakeland you'll find more opportunities to play major roles in yearly performances than at larger schools. You'll study acting and stagecraft, and you'll have opportunities to follow your passion and serve as designer, crew chief, assistant director, assistant choreographer, stage manager or fight captain.
Twice a year – during autumn and spring – our theatre department produces a major production for the Lakeland community to enjoy.
