Lakeland University offers Esports as part of our varsity athletics. Lakeland’s co-ed team will be a member of the National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE), which serves as the governing body to more than 150 colleges and universities setting standards for eligibility and conduct for collegiate esports.

    Lakeland University has a 3,000-square foot, state-of-the-art Esports Arena. The arena features 8 gaming stations, six consoles, a lounge area and space for spectators to enjoy the action.

    Interested in playing in our eSports arena? Lakeland's facility is open to students, faculty and staff for $5 (for 2.5 hours of gaming) or $10 (for 5 hours of gaming). You can use Muskie money, cash or credit. Max capacity is 25 individuals.

    Saturdays: 12 - 5 p.m.
    Sundays: 11 a.m - 4 p.m.

    Ahman Green

    Ahman Green might be best known in Wisconsin for his Hall of Fame career with the Green Bay Packers, but for eSports enthusiasts, he has also built quite a positive reputation. Green, an eSports entrepreneur and longtime player, was named the first coach of Lakeland University’s new eSports program.

    Lakeland Named Official Partner Of Bucks Gaming

    Lakeland University is a proud partner of the Milwaukee Bucks NBA 2K team, Bucks Gaming! This partnership not only elevates our Esports program, but supports the development of Esports throughout the state of Wisconsin.

    The partnership includes live streams on Bucks Gaming’s Twitch channel with head coach, Ahman Green, and members of the Lakeland esports program and appearances by Bucks Gaming players and staff on The Ahman Green Show podcast.

    Additionally, it provides Lakeland’s Esports student-athletes the opportunity to learn from professional gamers. Our players meet with Bucks Gaming staff to discuss strategy, breakdown gameplay and review film to better prepare for their season.

    Community Esports League - Calling All Gamers

    Community Esports League

    Support Our Esports Program

    Lakeland has partnered with Unified Esports Association to kick off the Community Esports League (CEL). CEL is an inclusive community-driven league that partners with organizations like us to offer some fun and cash/prizes of $4,000+. These leagues are geared to everyone and open to all ages.

    Register for a league and 20% of proceeds will be donated back to the Lakeland Esports team!
