Our Philosophy

The Lakeland University coaching staff is excited to host several Muskies Women's Wrestling Camps this year. These camps are for female high school student (grades 9-12).

The camp philosophy is to provide solid fundamental wrestling skills in a relaxed atmosphere. Each session is designed to ensure that campers enjoy their time while gaining experience

Preview Days provide prospective students well-rounded exposure to life at Lakeland. Students will tour the LU campus, meet professors and the women's wrestling coaching staff, and talk to student admission counselors about future plans. During the competition portion, attendees will have the opportunity to watch the Lakeland University women's wrestling team compete.

Schedule:

  • 8:45 a.m. - Check In
  • 9 a.m. - Welcome
  • 9:15 a.m. - Cooperative Education Overview
  • 9:45 a.m. - Campus Tour
  • 10:40 a.m. - Academic Masterclass
  • 11:15 a.m. - Interest Sessions (Student Panel, Faculty Panel, Admission/Financial Aid Overview)
  • 12:25 p.m. - Lunch
  • 12:30 p.m. - Wrestling Competition

    • $25/person

    This camp will teach students advanced concepts within all facets of wrestling. It will include elite level technical sessions and live, combat situations.

      • $300 (Overnight)
      • $225 (Commuter)

    Sunday, June TBA:

    • Check-in: 1-2 p.m.
    • Session 1: 2-4:30 p.m.
    • Dinner 1: 4:30-6 p.m.
    • Session 2: 6-8:30 p.m.

    Monday, June TBA:

    • Breakfast 2: 7-8:30 a.m.
    • Session 3: 9-11:30 a.m.
    • Lunch 3: 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
    • Session 4: 1:30-4:30 p.m.
    • Dinner 4: 4:30-6:00 p.m.
    • Activity 5: 6-8:30 p.m.

    Tuesday, June TBA:

    • Breakfast 5: 7-8:30 a.m.
    • Session 5: 9-11:30 a.m.
    • Check-out: 11:30-12:30 p.m.
