Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accreditation evaluation and invitation for third-party comment
The Lakeland University Nursing Program is scheduled for an accreditation site visit by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). The onsite visit is March 23 - 25, 2026 for the RN to BSN Completion Program and BSN Concurrent Enrollment Program. CCNE is our nationally recognized accrediting agency for baccalaureate and graduate degree programs in nursing education.
As part of the accreditation process, CCNE invites third-party comments regarding the programs scheduled for review. Written comments must be submitted directly to CCNE and should be relevant to the Baccalaureate degree program’s compliance with CCNE Standards for Accreditation of Baccalaureate and Graduate Nursing Programs. All third-party comments must be written in English.
Please note that comments are only shared with the CCNE evaluation team before the site visit. At no point are third-party comments shared with Lakeland University, the nursing program, the Accreditation Review Committee, or the Board. All written comments must be signed and received by CCNE no later than March 2, 2026. If you would like to submit a statement for the Lakeland University nursing program, please submit to: thirdpartycomments@ccneaccreditation.org
For questions about the CCNE Third-Party Comments process, please contact CCNE staff at (202) 887-6791 ext. 268.
