Student artwork takes spotlight at Lakeland
Beginning this Friday, Lakeland University will feature the artistic talent of its students as part of the Annual Student Art Exhibition, a show that displays the best pieces by students enrolled in the university’s various studio art and graphic design classes from the current school year.
The exhibit will open Friday, April 10, with a 4:30 p.m. reception and runs through May 1 in the Bradley Fine Arts Building on the Lakeland campus. The Bradley Gallery is open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday, when Lakeland is in session.
The show consists of more than 100 pieces of art, ranging from traditional studio work to digital media. More than 30 students are participating, most of whom are majoring in non-art-related subjects, making it a wonderful display of the various talents of Lakeland students.
