DevelopU: Offering Two Affordable, Flexible Professional Development Workshops
Launch: Lakeland Student-Run Businesses’ DevelopU program is offering two affordable, flexible workshops to provide professionals and companies with high-quality professional development opportunities.
DevelopU will be offering the Celemi Apples & Oranges Business Finance Virtual Simulation on Friday, February 19, and the six-part Amplify Your Leadership using the Lens of Music series.
The Celemi Apples & Oranges Business Finance Virtual Simulation, scheduled for Friday, February 19, enables participants to understand how they contribute to the financial and operational success of the organization.
This popular seven-hour workshop focuses on building the business acumen and financial literacy skills of employees, managers and leaders. It is available in a variety of industries including manufacturing, retail, service and healthcare.
Cost for the Celemi Apples & Oranges Business Finance Virtual Simulation is $450 per participant.
Amplify Your Leadership using the Lens of Music, offered in partnership with Audira Labs, a unique leadership development firm that specializes in using music as a lens to help leaders, teams and organizations amplify their leadership.
This program is experiential and hands-on, asking participants to use the principles of music to learn, practice and apply key leadership skills. Leaders will experience unique and effective ways to enhance leadership self-awareness, strengthen team alignment, improve group communication & collaboration, and sharpen organizational accountability.
The series doesn’t require a musical background or training, just a willingness to have fun and experiment.
