Lakeland Launches Summer STEM Camps for Youth
Lakeland University will offer more than a dozen hands-on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) experiences and camps for young people throughout the summer.
Beginning in June and continuing into August, Lakeland will host STEM-focused events, hands-on experiments and applied learning opportunities designed to spark discovery, encourage experimentation and connect learners with real-world challenges.

Students will engage in collaborative projects, research and hands-on experimentation that reinforce classroom concepts while building practical skills and confidence.
Through these experiences, learners are encouraged to:
Later this summer, in partnership with Club SciKidz, Lakeland will host a variety of day camps that invite students to explore STEM through interactive, age-appropriate experiences.
A complete list along with registration information can be found at https://lakeland.edu/stem-camps.
These camps emphasize experimentation, problem-solving and creativity, giving young learners the chance to learn by doing in a fun, engaging environment.
Camp offerings vary by age and interest, and may include topics such as robotics, coding, science exploration, engineering challenges, digital design and more. Registration is now open, and space is limited.
