Longtime Lakeland adjunct faculty member retires

Ralph Rich, MBA, Ed.D., has retired from his adjunct teaching role at Lakeland with the close of the summer semester.

For more than 20 years, Rich taught primarily undergraduate and graduate courses in Lakeland’s business program through the Green Bay and Fox Cities Centers, on the Main Campus and online.

Jennifer VandenAvond, director of Lakeland’s Green Bay Center, said Rich was also a great resource outside the classroom, especially helping new faculty members.

“He has been an amazing instructor for our students and a wonderful person to work with,” VandenAvond said. “He is truly an inspiration, and we are very thankful for his many years of service.”
