We are saddened to learn that Cardinal Stritch University is closing at the end of this semester. We know this must be hard for you, especially as you consider your future, and we'd like to help.

Whether you have just started your educational journey, or are pursuing a graduate degree, at Lakeland we are equipped to help you finish what you started. We’ll do everything we can to make transferring to Lakeland as easy as possible. Lakeland University is committed to your success, and will grant all current Cardinal Stritch University students in good academic standing guaranteed admission to Lakeland University. Students will be able to complete their degree in the same amount of time, and Cardinal Stritch students will pay the same or less tuition in most instances to attend Lakeland University.

        Degrees

        For more than four decades, Lakeland University has been a leader in offering adult learners innovative pathways to earn their academic degrees and make their career goals a reality.

        Today, Lakeland offers a number of pathways and programs for students, especially those who are juggling work and family:

        • Flexible delivery formats:
          • Onsite: In class one night per week at one of our six center locations
          • Online: participate weekly when it works best for you
          • Online Live: attend live classes virtually from anywhere one night per week
          • BlendEd Live: attend classes in-person or online … you choose each week
        • Lakeland offers 12- and/or 7-week courses during the fall, spring and summer semesters
        • Lakeland’s award-winning Cooperative Education program allows students to earn academic credit for projects they are doing on the job, cutting down the time to graduation and making their learning relevant to their career advancement.
        • Lakeland offers evening classes at six centers around Wisconsin (including Milwaukee) for those students who prefer to learn face to face in real time.
        • Lakeland has offered online courses for 20+ years, and was one of the first colleges in the United States to fully offer a degree online.

        For more than 40 years, Lakeland University has been meeting working students where they are. We would love to know more about your professional goals and how we can best support you while you earn your master's degree.

        Don't put your life on hold to earn your graduate degree. Our flexible scheduling and variety of modalities allow you to learn on your time and at your own pace. Build a schedule that meets your needs with options for 7- and 12-week courses, evening classes and the ability to join class remotely. You can also earn academic credit for real-world experience and finish your degree faster.

        • Guaranteed admission. Lakeland University will provide 100% transfer of all credits.
        • Cost will be the same or less than what you would pay at Cardinal Stritch University (i.e. tuition, residence expenses, fees, etc.) in most instances to complete courses and other requirements necessary to graduate.
          • Be sure to add Lakeland's FAFSA code (003854) to your financial aid application.
        • Complete your program on the same timeframe (or sooner) as was possible at Cardinal Stritch University.
        • Students in licensure programs will be supported in obtaining an equal or comparable license.
        • Personalized admission and academic advising.

        At Lakeland University, we value work and the learning that takes place outside of the classroom. Many students return to the classroom with a wealth of knowledge and experience from their professional lives. Whether you have prior work experience, want to get work experience but have a busy schedule or are interested in being part of our Cooperative Education program through our traditional Main Campus program, there is an abundance of opportunities to get credit for your work!
