Addams Family: The Musical
Auditions will be Monday, Dec 8 & Tuesday, Dec 9 from 6 – 9 p.m. in Lakeland University's Bradley Theater. Rehearsals will start in late January. Show dates are March 26 – March 29. Please sign up for one 10-minute audition time on this sign up sheet. Auditions are open to students, faculty/staff, alumni, and the community. Auditionees must be a high school freshman or older, and (if cast) must have a guardian permission form signed.
Arrive 5-10 minutes BEFORE your audition time in order to fill out an audition form. Please BRING ANY KNOWN CONFLICTS with you for the rehearsal period of January 20th - March 29, 2026. Audition forms are also linked here if you wish to fill yours out in advance. Callbacks will be Thursday, Dec 11, so please keep your availability open on that date (you will be notified by email on Wednesday if you are called back).
Prepare 1 MINUTE OF MUSIC for your audition (that is approximately 32 bars or a verse and chorus of a song – not a full song). Your music choice can be from any song, but preferably not from the Addams Family Musical itself. It should, however, showcase your singing ability and range. It can be acapella, or you can bring an instrumental/karaoke style MP3 track to play.

Lastly, if you are unable to attend auditions, but would like to try out for the show, please submit an UNLISTED YOUTUBE VIDEO LINK of your audition to the director at kimberli.koeppen@lakeland.edu. The video should contain your vocal piece and reading from one of the monologue audition sides, and must be received BEFORE 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec 9.
