Elisabeth Carper teaches music theory, aural skills, music history and appreciation, class piano, and applied piano. Each summer she coordinates theory, piano, and honors programs at Lakeland’s music camp. An active member of Wisconsin Music Teacher Association, Elisabeth served as website chair from 2010-2016 and has been adjudicating since 2014. A 2010 Lakeland graduate, Elisabeth earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music (Piano Performance and Pedagogy) under Arthur Johnson. She completed her Master of Music (Piano Performance) at James Madison University in 2013 where she studied with Brazilian pianist Paulo Steinberg and pedagogues Lori Piitz, Patricia Brady, and Vicki Curry. Locally, Elisabeth has appeared in concerts at Lakeland University, the Plymouth Arts Center, and the Stefanie H. Weill Center in Sheboygan. She enjoys performing solo as well as collaborating with musicians of all ages and backgrounds.
