Dr. Mavity Maddalena’s intellectual passions include Christian social ethics, feminist and womanist theology, intersections of class, race, gender, and sexuality, and diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) conversation and training. Dr. Mavity Maddalena regularly leads community workshops in these areas. She is an ordained United Church of Christ clergy. She also enjoys time with her spouse and children, hiking in the Rocky Mountains, camping, and being with friends.
