Kellett School staff continues to lend a helping hand

Lakeland’s Kellett School Community Engagement Committee is leveraging our network of statewide centers to serve the broader population, especially during these challenging times of COVID-19.

Here is a sample of the work that’s been done by volunteers at our centers in the last several weeks:

  • Staff at the Central-Wisconsin Rapids Center donated items to the South Wood Co. Humane Society. They also donated items and created hand-written cards for each resident at Our House Senior Living in Wisconsin Rapids.
  • Staff at the Sheboygan Center conducted a school supplies drive for the Sheboygan Area School District.
  • The Fox Cities Center is in the process of a drive to gather canned food, non-perishable food items and warm socks and mittens for those in need. Donations are being accepted via contactless drop off through November 20 at the Fox Cities Center, 2320 Industrial Drive, Neenah. Additionally, the Fox Cities staff delivered baskets of muffins and Lakeland goodies to the staff in environmental services at Theda Clark Hospital.
