Lakeland, City of Neenah partner for annual Seniors event

Lakeland co-hosted the fifth annual School for Seniors event in October in Neenah. The event is a collaboration between Lakeland’s Fox Cities Center and the City of Neenah.

This year’s event was held at Washington Park in Neenah and the theme was health and wellness.

Featured speakers included Lakeland accounting professor Brett Killion, Dr. Timothy Brown of Brown Family Dentistry, Linda Carder of the ADRC and Ellen Miller of ADVOCAP. Session topics focused on happiness, personal health, financial safety and nutrition.

Neenah Mayor Dean Kaufert and Lakeland Vice President for Academic Affairs Joshua Kutney delivered opening remarks. Kutney serves as vice-chairman on the City of Neenah’s Committee on Aging and helped to develop the School for Seniors program.
