  • Calligraphy Workshop (On-campus, materials provided, LUJ student instructors)
  • Kabuki or Noh Theatre (Traditional Japanese performance)

Thursday

  • Survival Japanese Lesson
  • Asakusa Sightseeing Tour (Souvenir shopping, local exploration)
  • Sumo Match (pending schedule)

Friday

  • Survival Japanese Lesson
  • Tea Ceremony (On-campus lecture & workshop, LUJ faculty-led)
  • Tokyo Sky Tree (Top-level access, shopping, and sightseeing)

Saturday

  • Day Trip – TBA

Sunday

  • Kamakura Historic Tour (Full-day excursion)

Monday

  • Survival Japanese Lesson
  • Hokusai Museum Tour (Famous works of Katsushika Hokusai)
  • Sumida Eating Tour (Walking tour featuring Japanese cuisine)

Tuesday

  • Survival Japanese Lesson
  • Karate Demonstration (On-campus lecture & workshop, LUJ faculty-led)
  • Brewery Tour (Optional – Ebisu Brewery Tour)

Wednesday

  • Survival Japanese Lesson
  • Mount Takao Hike (Full-afternoon excursion)

Thursday

  • Survival Japanese Lesson
  • Free Day (Rest and recovery from hike)
  • Group Karaoke with LUJ participants

Friday

  • Return Home

  • $4,500 – Lakeland & Wisconsin Technical College students

    *Course credit not included. Financial aid may be available.
