5th annual Academy for Aspiring Entrepreneurs!

June 13-16, 2022

This four-day summer workshop for rising high school juniors and seniors is intended to further hone their entrepreneurial skills in leadership, team building, public speaking, networking and social media.

The program includes:

  • professional instruction from Lakeland staff and guest presenters on building a successful business plan.
  • visits to well-respected local Wisconsin businesses.
  • continental breakfast and lunch each day.
  • "Muskie Tank" group competition to a panel of community leaders
  • the book "The Lens of Leadership" and a roundtable discussion with the author, Cory Bouck.
  • guest speakers, including regional entrepreneurs and The Commons.

Additional Information:

  • There is no cost to the student for this program.
  • Daily transportation is required. Overnight accommodations are not available.
  • Sessions run from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday-Wednesday. Program concludes at 1:30 p.m. Thursday following competition and luncheon.
