Meredith Minister, associate professor of religion and affiliate professor of gender and women's studies at Shenandoah University, will address what rape culture is and its effects on students. She is the author of "Rape Culture on Campus" and the coeditor of "Rape Culture and Religious Studies: Critical and Pedagogical Engagements." She has extensive training and experience in facilitating group discussions on difficult topics.

This program is presented as part of the Ulrich Center's Conversations on Ethics and Justice series and this topic was selected due to high interest from Lakeland students.
