We will be welcoming Jeremy Gundlach, communication director with the Board for People with Developmental Disabilities.
He will speak about current issues faced by people with disabilities and current initiatives of the BPDD. Folks attending will again have a different perspective on disability awareness and will be able to "know more and do better" in supporting students with disabilities.
Gundlach has been involved with disability advocacy since childhood as his older brother has Cerebral Palsy. He also sits on the board of directors for WisconSibs, a nonprofit that supports siblings of people with disabilities. He was also a lead facilitator for the YiPPE and PiP programs which educated transition aged youth along with their parents on state resources to support youth with disabilities potential as they become adults.
