The focus of this event is two-fold: first, to provide students information on how to apply for graduate school programs and what life is like in graduate school. For this component, we featured a faculty panel representing different subject areas. Second, to introduce students to the graduate programs Lakeland offers.
Here is the framework of the event:
Lakeland faculty panel: 45 minutes
Overview of LU grad programs: 5 minutes
Students visit information tables and speak individually with faculty panelists: 25 minutes
Information tables at the event will feature our graduate programs, the ability of students to apply 9 credits of graduate credit towards their bachelors degree and key industry certifications.
