College is possible for students with intellectual disability

Today we celebrate Inclusive Postsecondary Education (IPSE) Day to raise awareness and spread the word about IPSE options for students with intellectual disability.

Only 2% of school-age students with intellectual disability go to college. Let’s change that!

College is and should be an option for students with intellectual disability. That’s why we started our Life & Career Studies program, which provides a complete college experience for young adults between the ages of 18-25. The program provides them access to a similar college experience as their peers, and focuses on four areas: academics, employment, independent living and community engagement.
