Lakeland, Cardinal Stritch Sign Teach-Out Agreement
Lakeland University and Cardinal Stritch University have signed a teach-out agreement to support Cardinal Stritch students searching for a new institution to complete their degree.
Cardinal Stritch, located in Fox Point, Wis., recently announced it will close following the current school year.
The agreement includes several benefits for Stritch students:
The teach-out agreement is pending approval by the Higher Learning Commission, although Stritch students can begin the transfer process immediately.
Stritch students have several pathways to finish their degree at Lakeland:
Additionally, Lakeland’s Cooperative Education program provides ways for students to earn academic credit for work. Lakeland also offers credit for prior learning options, which can award students academic credit for previous work, reducing the time to degree completion.
Lakeland is hosting information sessions to provide Stritch students with an opportunity to learn more about Lakeland, and LU admissions counselors will be available to answer any questions.
