Three Graduate Certificates Offered at Lakeland University

Lakeland is offering three graduate certificate programs for folks interested in expanding their knowledge in leadership, human resources and project management.

Additional education is key for leaders in the workplace, but sometimes going back to school for several semesters to earn a degree doesn’t line up with life’s timing.

Graduate certificates address the need for professionals to obtain graduate-level training outside of formally pursuing a master’s degree. Lakeland’s certificates provide individuals with excellent professional development opportunities.

Students complete three courses in one of three areas of study – leadership, human resources or project management – to earn a certificate. For students who later decide to seek a Lakeland master of business administration or master of science in leadership and organization development degree, credit from these courses will count toward master’s degree coursework.

Courses can be taken during Lakeland’s two 7-week semesters this spring and the final course can be taken during the 12-week summer semester.
