Lakeland University's Clergy Residence Program

UCC Clergy Residence Program

The Ulrich Center at Lakeland University offers an opportunity for UCC ministers to relax, reflect and renew. Clergy are invited to get away from routine pressures and hectic schedules and spend up to 3 days on the Lakeland University campus. Participants are not expected to prepare or present written reports or to formally speak on campus, although involvement in classroom discussions and chapel services can be arranged. Participating clergy will rest and enjoy campus housing, food, facilities and activities at reduced rates.

Participants are offered:

  • A room with a private bath in a residence hall.
  • Dining options in the Campus Center.
  • Free use of all Todd Wehr Physical Education Center facilities.
  • Free access to materials in the Esch Library, including access to private study rooms, computers and copier.
  • Free attendance at and participation in a variety of university-sponsored activities (fine arts, athletics, convocations, etc.).
  • Informal contacts with faculty members and students.
  • Walking and jogging opportunities on the university's 145-acre campus (including wooded areas along the Sheboygan River).
