Mehraban Khodavandi, who joined Lakeland in 1981, earned his Ph.D. in Educational Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1980.
Khodavandi has served as Chair of the Education Division and is currently Director of Lakeland's Graduate Education Programs and Senior Fellow of the Center for Advanced Disciplinary Studies. He is a two-time winner of Lakeland's Outstanding Professor of the Year award and a winner of the Underkofler Excellence in Teaching award, and a winner of the Alumni Association Outstanding Faculty Member award.
Khodavandi, who has one year of post-doctoral credit in the area of vocational and adult education, has been the driving force in Lakeland's undergraduate and graduate education programs.
