Britanni Meinnert, Instructor of Hospitality Management, graduated from Lakeland University in 2000 with a degree in Hospitality Management. Throughout her time as a Lakeland student, she gained her hospitality operational experience at The American Club, the only 5-Diamond, 5-Star resort in the Midwest. Upon graduation, she was promoted into a leadership role in housekeeping, then moved to the front desk until her departure in 2011. In total, she enjoyed 14 years working in the hospitality industry. What Britanni enjoyed most was the guest interaction, variety in schedule, creativity in problem solving and developing other young leaders which lead her to pursue her desire to teach at the college level and prepare the next generation of hospitality leaders.
