Cynthia Lindstrom, who has more than two decades of corporate, government and educational computer science experience, joined Lakeland's faculty as an assistant professor of computer science in 2009.
Lindstrom redesigned the computer science major in 2012 and led the drive for a new computer science classroom and lab.
Prior to joining Lakeland, Lindstrom worked at world-renowned The Manitowoc Company (Cranes Division) as a business systems analyst. Prior to that, she worked as a systems analyst for Humana. She was also an adjunct instructor for Lakeland College.
Lindstrom holds a doctorate of education with an emphasis in computing and information technology from Nova Southeastern University in Florida. She also has a master's of science degree in administration with a systems analysis emphasis from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and a bachelor's in business administration/management information systems from Michigan Technological University.
